Two decades of excellence in orthotics and prosthetics
Founded in 2006, in Timișoara, TRIAMED is a family company that has grown from a small manufacturer of personalized orthopedic devices to a recognized leader on the Romanian and European market in the field of orthopedic and medical products.
The company's development reflects a path built on solid values, long-term vision and continuous investments in infrastructure, technology and human resources:
- 2006 – The beginnings of TRIAMED, with a focus on personalized orthopedic solutions, adapted to each patient.
- 2008 – Development of series production and expansion of the portfolio with orthopedic textile products and walking devices.
- 2014 – The first step on the international stage, by participating as an exhibitor at MEDICA trade fair in Düsseldorf, a reference event in the European medical industry.
- 2016 – Modernization and relocation of production facilities, supporting growth and operational efficiency.
- 2018 – Strategic partnership with the Polytehnic University of Timișoara, for research and development in medical engineering.
- 2021 – Expansion of the portfolio by launching the medical uniform line.
- 2022–2023 – Strengthening the position on the European market and developing a team dedicated to excellence in the relationship with partners.
- 2024 – Full alignment with European standards through certification according to MDR 745, active involvement in the educational area and opening a new Work Point in Târgu Jiu.
- 2025 – Strategic investments in modern technologies, including the launch of the line of personalized orthopedic supports, through the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical software, and the expansion of exports to Italy.
- 2026 – A defining moment: 20 years of TRIAMED. The anniversary is marked by:
- the launch of the production of knitted medical textile orthoses,
- participation as an exhibitor in EXPOSANITÀ Bologna,
- opening of the logistics warehouse in Rome,
- go along with the program “Excellence in Orthotics”, through sustained investments in education, training and consultancy.
